Dulay Seymour gives Applelec a glowing transformation
Dulay Seymour and sister company Webmotion are providing full marketing solutions (on and off-line) for specialist sign and lighting company - Applelec Sign Components.
The design agency has been given an exciting opportunity to work with Applelec's leading product. LED Light Sheet - is a clear sheet of acrylic that is etched with a uniform matrix and securely embedded with thermally managed LEDs. The etched matrix acts as a vehicle to carry even light from the LEDs across the entire surface of the panel. The light sheet can be cut to any specific bespoke requirements but is most often used for exhibition displays, retail interiors and corporate signage.
The innovative LED Light Sheet has increased turnover for Applelec by nearly 20% in the year since it was launched in 2010. With increased market awareness, LED Light Sheet has provided a platform for Applelec to make relationships with international lighting consultancies, which has lead to exciting work with renowned companies such as Mulberry and the National History Museum.
Due to the diverse and expanding applications for which the lighting unit is now specified, Dulay Seymour has been called upon to complete a rebrand that is more in line with the sophistication of the product itself. Working closely with Applelec to find out how the product is wished to be perceived, the creatives carried out a full branding exercise which has taken their image to a whole new level.
Most recently, Applelec has just announced the launch of their stunning new website, www.ledlightsheet.co.uk, which Dulay Seymour designed and built together with its digital arm Webmotion. Within the short period that the new website has been live, Applelec has already noticed the difference. PR & Marketing Officer of Applelec, Keri Stephenson, says "We've received a phenomenal amount of enquiries since directing people to the website through mail shots. Getting the site live is a huge milestone for the rebranding project, and we can't wait to launch the next phase."
Currently, the Dulay Seymour team are working on the packaging design and product brochure for the LED Light Sheet.
