Applelec returns for a company overhaul after LED Light Sheet success
There is little more satisfying than when a client returns to you for more work. It means you've done a good job. So you can imagine how ecstatic we were when trade supplier Applelec not only returned to Dulay Seymour to rebrand the company, but revealed this was because it had expanded so rapidly as a result of the work we previously carried out, that the company are in the position to do so. That was certainly a pat on the back if ever there was one!
Last year our design team rebranded one of Applelec's leading products, the LED Light Sheet. This also included designing product packaging and brochures for the product, as well as creating the new website with our sister company Webmotion. As a direct result of the new website, sales on the light sheet have rocketed and the company has been fortunate enough to take on new members of staff and build a new extension on their Bradford based offices. The business is booming and is fast becoming a leading authority in its field.
No longer calling itself 'Applelec Sign Components' - as it has been known since the company launched in 1998 - 'Applelec' has recently simplified its restrictive name to reflect its broadened product range. To coincide, the company has decided to launch a brand spanking new identity to highlight the expansion to customers, and reflect the contemporary, professional supplier it is today.
Applelec chose to return to our team at Dulay Seymour to work on the re-brand not only because of our past success working together, but because the Applelec marketing team trusts we know their business almost as well as they do. This is an incredibly important insight to have for any marketing activity, but especially so when responsible for designing the logo that the whole brand personality and company ethos will revolve around in the future.
It's a challenge that we can't wait to get our teeth stuck into. The new brand will only be the first step. Working with Applelec, we have put a marketing schedule in place that spans from now, right through to 2014. Initial activities following the new brand are to include; stationery design, brochure design and website design & build.
